Gamification Gurus Feb 2013

The February 2013 gamification gurus list is published.  Reflecting the engagement online from the people that shake and move in the gamification industry.

Gabe held on to the number one slot but Andrzej lost out this month as he goes down two places. Scott Golas comes in second, a massive jump of 21 places. Well done Scott!

Marigo is back in the top three, no doubt helping her score by including blog posts and comments on her leaderboarded profile.

Apologies to Yukai Chou who it seems fell foul of some arbitrary twitter garden hose sharding this month. It meant I didn’t pick up his tweets yet I did pick up his retweets. We’re upgrading to a full firehose soon which should put a stop to this problem but it’s not plugged in yet.

The anonymous “Gamifier” who I don’t know has done well this month – welcome to the gurus list and please introduce yourself in the comments.

This will be the order of the gurus that we’ll use for the big photo at the San Francisco GSummit in April, look forward to seeing you all there.

  • Hope this is the right place to introduce myself. My name is Horst Streck. I have 15 years of experience in ICT and after that became the CEO/Founder of Youdagames. In 2012 I stepped down as a CEO of Youdagames and became a member of the advisory board. I decided to follow my heart and started a new venture which is all about gamification and I became a gamifier. Here is the link to my full bio:
