As it is, the survival/multiplayer crafting genre has become a bit saturated. The genre was originally started by games like Minecraft, and has become more and more popular over time. The only thing that set ARK: Survival Evolved apart from its competitors at first was the use of dinosaurs as an enemy. Dinosaurs are cool. This is an objective fact. People love fighting dinosaurs. ORION: Prelude takes this concept to the next level. In the title, players are able to fight a variety of different dinosaurs, using different types of weapons and vehicles.
4 – Primal Carnage
Primal Carnage is an online shooter that immerses its players in PVP combat, where their skill counts, team-based strategy and wild facts. Dispatched to reclaim a remote island from a dinosaur outbreak, a team of battle-hardened mercenaries struggle to take control of their abandoned facilities and secure classified objectives. Play either side in the fight for survival of the fittest, taking on the role of an armed human mercenary or a weird prehistoric predator.
3 – 7 Days to Day
In 7 Days to Die you play as a person who is thrown into a post-apocalyptic world where you have to survive several different zombie waves, with nothing but your own instincts to guide you. Certainly, the game looks very different from ARK: Survival Evolved. The dark and barren setting contrasts with the more vibrant island it finds itself in in ARK. Still, you’ll find that the craft and community aspects of 7 Days to Die are very similar to what you’ll find in Ark. This game involves a lot of accumulation, a lot of preparation and a lot of fast-paced action perfect for anyone looking for an ARK: Survival Evolved alternative, although it looks very different on the surface.

In Rust your only and main objective is to survive. To do this, you’ll need to overcome struggles such as hunger, thirst and the cold, and you’ll have to go looking for resources to build shelter and make a fire to keep warm. Kill animals for meat. Protect yourself from other players and kill them for meat. Create alliances with other players and form a city. Do whatever it takes to survive.
